At Folk & Thread, doing good is at the heart of everything we do. From the beginning, we knew we wanted our brand to make a difference—not only through creating safe, sustainable baby sleep products, but by helping families who need it most. That’s why we launched The Better Sleep Project in partnership with The Lullaby Trust..

OUR PURPOSE

Supporting families everywhere

The Better Sleep Project is an initiative designed to provide essential baby bedding and sleep guidance to families in need. For every product sold, we help fund donations of baby sleep bags, blankets, and other sleep essentials to those facing difficult conditions, such as temporary housing or financial hardship.

With over 125,000 children currently living in unsuitable housing, our goal is simple: to support vulnerable families by providing safe, comfortable sleep spaces for their babies.

In partnership with The Lullaby Trust

We’re honoured to work closely with The Lullaby Trust, a charity that has been saving babies' lives through safer sleep guidance for over 50 years. Our founders have a long-standing relationship with the Trust, having previously collaborated on pioneering sleep safety initiatives. Together, we’re ensuring that more families can access life-saving advice and safer sleep products,

OUR IMPACT

Thank you so much for our baby bundle. My baby was delivered early while we were still sofa surfing. The bundle helped us when we were discharged from the hospital, giving our little girl a safe place to sleep until her cot arrived.

Family recipient

The family I supported were a first-time mum and baby who had fled domestic abuse. The crib and blankets from the bundle gave the baby a safe place to sleep, and the mum felt she was doing her best for her child. Thank you so much for making such a difference.

The family are in temporary accommodation with the baby sleeping in a pram, which was far too small for her. They were delighted with their bedtime bundle.
